Our Mission

Our mission at North Sydney English College is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe and supportive environment, one that promotes self discipline, motivation and excellence in learning. We will assist student in developing skills to become independent and self sufficient so they can succeed and contribute responsibly in a global environment.

Business Awards

TEG is pleased to announce that we are the proud winners of the 2012 NAB sponsored Hong Kong – Australia Business Association (HKABA) Award for Business Excellence!

On Friday, 26 October 2012, TEG was a finalist at the prestigious 13th annual HKABA Awards evening in the categories of ‘Import/Export of Goods/Services’, ‘Business Development’ and the winner for ‘Business Excellence’.

The gala dinner ceremony was held at the beautiful Le Montage reception centre and there to accept the award was Neda Morris, TEG Marketing Director and her team, Janet Inchley, Daniel Blus and Betty Babamovski.

The independent judging panel is chaired by The Hon. Sir Laurence Street AC KCMG QC. The panel comprises NSW Government with other professionals and industry heads from Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Austrade and HKABA NSW Chapter Platinum Sponsors; HKETO, Government of the HKSAR, NAB, Cathay Pacific, Hantec Markets and Navarra Venues.

Aspects that the judges focus on strongly include each year are:

  1. Professional approach to business practice
  2. Proportion of import/export turnover
  3. Contribution to industry and society
  4. Standard of marketing strategies
  5. Level of innovation and creativity
  6. Presentation Consumer/environmental contribution of products/services
  7. TEG is honoured to be recognised for positive co-operation with the China / Hong Kong international student market and to be in the esteemed company of the HKABA Members and associated international companies.
